Browns Valley -- Claude Milton Lydick, 89, a life resident and farmer in Brown
Township died at 9:45 p.m. Friday in his home here. He was a
past president of Montgomery County AAA, now known as ASC. Mr.
Lydick was born August 26, 1883, at Browns Valley, a son of
William C. and Catherine Hicks Lydick. He was married in May of
1916 to Francis Gross at Crawfordsville. She preceded him in
death. Surviving are several cousins. Services will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Machledt & Sons Funeral Home at
Waveland with Rev. Edward Dooley officiating. Burial will be in
Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m.
Sunday.
